In December 2000 Reynaldo Gonzalez founded Reynaldo Gonzalez Design in New York City, as a vehicle to conceive and promote projects in a wide range of design disciplines. Gonzalez designs in many areas: interior architecture, interior design, furniture, accessories, lighting, corporate image and commercial design.
Gonzalez’s cross-disciplinary design approach is driven by a design philosophy that creates a delicately balanced tension between pure materials and essential forms. The success of his interior design and product design have resulted in features worldwide in many publications, including The New York Times, Vogue, Houzz, Cue, The Wall Street Journal, Metropolitan Home, Domino Magazine, Cottage Living, Wish Magazine, City Magazine, Gambit, and American Way, Lonny Magazine and Houzz.
Gonzalez maintains his international viewpoint on creativity by immersing himself in the art, design, and popular cultures of many cities worldwide. He graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where he majored in Interior Design. His commissions have taken him nationally including landmarked homes, luxury condominiums, Co-Ops, fashion showrooms, and investment banking firms in The West Village, The Garden District, Rancho Palos Verdes, SOHO, Solitude Utah Naples Florida, British Columbia, and Jackson Hole.
